Kelly Hulata

Senior Sales Director

Kelly Hulata is the Senior Sales Director. She entered the death care industry in 1995 after a tragic community event, giving her the desire to help families navigate their needs on the worst day of their life. With 25 years of experience in the death care industry she has had the opportunity to provide sales leadership, working to show counselors there is a better way to prepare families by educating their communities on the importance of pre-arrangement. She started selling for a combo location before becoming an area manager of seven locations, earning the CFO award in 2009, along with the Sales Manager Overall Production Award in 2010, 2011, and 2012. Kelly continued her career path within the funeral industry and grew to a Regional VP of Sales for Stonemor Partners L.P. In 2017 she received a TOYP (Ten Outstanding Young People) award through the State of Illinois Jaycees for her work in the death care field.

An opportunity to lead the sales division of Thumbies, Inc. presented itself in 2019. For the next year she progressively worked on growing relationships between funeral homes and the Thumbies brand.

Kelly’s passion lies in training, motivating and educating counselors to build meaningful relationships with the families they serve. She feels the positive connections made with clients is the most important step in building a successful pre-need business. Kelly is the Midwest Regional Sales Manager.
